פעילות העמותה
בכל המגזרים בציבור הישראלי, כמו גם בעולם, קיימים גברים הנמשכים מינית לבני מינם.
ישנם גברים בעלי משיכה הומוסקסואלית, הן שומרי תורה ומצוות והן חילוניים, המרגישים שהמשיכה המינית שלהם איננה מתאימה להם.
הסיבות לתחושה זו יכולות להיות שונות: סיבה דתית, חברתית, ערכית או רגשית וכו’.
הם מחפשים, לעתים במשך שנים ארוכות, כתובת לשיתוף, לקבלת תמיכה ולקבלת סיוע בהתמודדות עם המשיכה המינית אותה הם מגדירים כבלתי רצויה עבורם.
גברים אלו נמצאים במקומות שונים על ‘רצף’ המשיכה המינית. חלקם נמשך גם לגברים וגם לנשים וחלקם לגברים בלבד.
המשותף לרובם הוא השאיפה להקים בית המבוסס על זוגיות הטרוסקסואלית.
עזרה למתמודדים
בשנים האחרונות גדל העיסוק בנושא כאשר הקו המוביל בתקשורת, ברשתות החברתיות ובעולם הטיפול הינו לתת לגיטימציה לאורח חיים הומוסקסואלי ולהציגו כדבר שאיננו ניתן לשינוי ושאין בו כל בחירה.
על פי תפיסה זו – כל ניסיון להתייחס למשיכה מינית הומוסקסואלית כאל נטייה הניתנת לשינוי, גם אם חלקי, הינו פסול מכל וכל.
מסיבה זו נוצר מצב שבו לגברים המבקשים לאמץ את הזהות ההומוסקסואלית יש לאן לפנות בכדי לקבל עזרה ותמיכה, אך לגברים המבקשים לבחור ומגדירים עצמם כמתמודדים – אין כתובת מכילה, מְכַוֶּנֶת ומסייעת.
לצערנו, הנושא עדיין מרתיע הורים ומחנכים שאינם יודעים כיצד להגיב לפניה של צעיר מתמודד המחפש עזרה. המצוקה בה נמצאים מתמודדים רבים הינה קשה מנשוא ולעתים אף מביאה מתמודדים לייאוש, לבושה גדולה, או חלילה אפילו לפגיעה עצמית.
מענה מקצועי
הרבנים והיועצים החינוכיים רוני כהן וצביקה דנטלסקי והעו”ס הקליני יונתן ברנסקי, בעלי ניסיון עשיר ורב שנים בתחום, החליטו להרים את הכפפה ולהקים ארגון שיתן מענה מקצועי, דיסקרטי ואפקטיבי למתמודדים ולבני משפחותיהם וכן לרבנים ולאנשי חינוך.
הקמת העמותה נועדה להקל על הקושי הרב המאפיין את המתמודדים עם משיכה הומוסקסואלית בלתי רצויה עבורם, ולאפשר למתמודדים המבקשים זאת, לקבל טיפול שיסייע להם לחיות את חייהם באופן המתאים לעולם הערכים שלהם.
העמותה הוקמה בעידוד ובתמיכה רבנית ומקצועית רחבה.

Yonatan Bransky (M.S.W)

Background
Working as a therapist for the past seven years, Yonatan has treated hundreds of clients, including dozens dealing with sexual orientation issues. Yehonatan received an M.S.W from Haifa University and has a background in psychotherapy. Yonatan gives lectures all over the country. He is considered an expert in the field of sexual orientation.
Yuval Noyman

Background
Currently a student of philosophy, politics, and economics (PPE) at the Open University, Yuval has spent the last decade directing charities and public organizations. He spent the last five years working with organizations in the field of mental health.
Yehonatan Hayat

Background
Currently working as a teacher at a yeshiva high school, Yehonatan holds a B.Ed in education and M.Ed in school counseling. Yehonatan is responsible for school staff training. He is a graduate of Herzog College’s prestigious “Lifnai V’Lifnim” group facilitator program.
Rabbi Zvika Dantalsky (M.Ed)

Background
Currently acting as a school principal, Rabbi Zvika holds a B.Ed in education and a M.Ed in school counseling. Previously, Rabbi Zvika worked as a school guidance counselor for 22 years. For the past 20 years, Rabbi Zvika has been dealing with individuals struggling with sexual orientation issues. He specializes in managing hotlines and has accompanied numerous individuals on their challenging journeys.
Roni Cohen (B.Ed)

Board member Co-director of the Parents and Family support group
Background
Currently works as a teacher and school counselor. He has worked in the fields of education and counseling for the past 25 years and holds s a B.Ed in education. Roni is an expert in dealing with sexual orientation issues amongst adolescents. He has accompanied many individuals and their families on their challenging journeys, and is considered an expert in the field.
